Add Bank Details for Payouts

Access the Bank Details Section

  1. Log in to your Vendor Dashboard.
  1. Navigate to Settings > Payments.
  1. Choose Add Payment Details > Direct to Bank Transfer.

Enter Your Bank Account Information

For New Zealand Bank Accounts
  • Bank account name: Must match the registered name on your vendor account.
  • Account number: Provide the full NZ account number in the format XX-XXXX-XXXXXXX-XX.
  • Bank name: Some banks require the branch name.

For International Bank Accounts
  • Account name: Must match your vendor registration details.
  • Account number/IBAN: Enter your International Bank Account Number.
  • SWIFT/BIC code: Required for international transfers.
  • Bank name and address: Include your bank’s full name and location.
  • Currency preference: Select the currency you wish to receive payouts in (subject to Kapsule’s supported currencies).
Warning
If your account name does not match your Kapsule profile, payments may fail or be delayed.

Save and Verify

  • Double-check all details before saving.
  • Click Save Changes.
  • Kapsule may send a small test payment or request verification documents (such as proof of bank account ownership).
Alert
Verification is required before your first payout is released. Check your email for instructions.

Monitor Your Settlements

  • Once verified, your payouts will follow Kapsule’s scheduled settlement cycle.
  • You can view your payment history under Dashboard > Settlements.
  • If you make changes to your bank details, allow up to 5 business days for updates to take effect.
Payout frequency may vary depending on your vendor account type.

FAQs

1. Can I use someone else’s bank account for payouts?

No. The bank account must be in the same name as your vendor account for security reasons.

2. How long does it take for payouts to appear in my account?

New Zealand payouts typically arrive within 1–2 business days after processing. International payouts may take 3–7 business days, depending on your bank.

3. Are there fees for international payouts?

Yes, your bank may charge fees for receiving international transfers. Kapsule is not responsible for these charges.

4. Can I change my bank details later?

Yes. You can update your bank details at any time in your dashboard, but verification may be required again.

5. What happens if my payout fails?

The funds will be returned to Kapsule, and you’ll be notified to correct your bank details before the payout is reprocessed.
