Editing, Duplicating & Archiving Products

Editing listings

You can edit a listing at any time to update product details, prices, or availability.

Steps to edit a listing:
  1. Log in to your Vendor Dashboard.
  1. Navigate to Products.
  1. Locate the listing you want to update and click Edit.
  1. Make changes as required (title, description, images, price, stock).
  1. Select Update to save your changes.
Warning
Avoid changing product titles and SKUs for active items that have existing orders, as this may cause confusion in reporting and reconciliation.
Idea
Regularly review your listings for seasonal products, discontinued ranges, or updated imagery to keep your storefront fresh and appealing.

Duplicating listings

Duplicating is useful when adding multiple products that share similar details but differ in colour, size, or style.

How to duplicate a listing:
  1. In your Vendor Dashboard, go to Products.
  1. Hover over the product you want to copy.
  1. Click Duplicate.
  1. A new draft listing will appear with the same details as the original.
  1. Edit fields such as SKU, attributes, or images to differentiate the product.
  1. Publish the new product when ready.
Info
Duplicated products will initially remain in draft mode until you publish them, so you have full control over editing before they go live.

Archiving listings

Archiving allows you to hide products from your storefront without permanently deleting them. This is helpful for items that are out of stock long-term, discontinued, or seasonal.

How to archive a listing:
  1. From Products, find the listing you want to archive.
  1. Select quick edit from the action menu > Status > Draft.
  1. The listing will be moved to your archived section and will no longer appear on the storefront.
  1. You can restore an archived listing at any time by selecting Online.
Alert
Archiving does not cancel existing orders. You must still fulfil any outstanding orders linked to the product.
Notes
Archiving keeps product history intact, including sales data, customer reviews, and reports.

FAQs

1: Can I edit a product after customers have ordered it?

Yes, but we recommend only editing fields like stock quantity or description. Avoid changing the SKU, product title, or pricing once orders are placed.

2: Will duplicating a listing copy its reviews?

No. Reviews remain attached to the original product. The duplicated listing starts fresh.

3: Can I permanently delete a listing?

Permanent deletion may only be available under certain conditions. Archiving is recommended to preserve your data while removing the product from view.

4: What happens to archived products in reports?

Archived products still appear in your sales and performance reports, ensuring you maintain accurate records.

5: Can I unarchive at any time?

Yes, you can unarchive and republish an item whenever you choose, which is useful for seasonal or rotating stock.
